February:
* 3rd Annual Specialty held in Kissimmee, FL
March:
* 1st Regional Specialty held in Reading, PA
August:
*2nd Regional Specialty held in Buffalo, NY

2009
March: 
* 2nd Annual BBCA Specialty held in Reading Pennsylvania

April:
* Launch of the Biewer Breed Club of America Rescue
*  Biewer accepted into the Russian Cynological Federation, 
   (RFK), in Russia   




2008
January: 
* Application package sent to the UKC for breed recognition
* BBCI Publication in "Mein Freund der Rassehund" of the UCI

March: 
* First BBCI Specialty held in Reading, Pennsylvania
* The IBC in Germany accepts the BBIR registry
* Biewer acceptance achieved by the BBCI into the Canine Eye Registry Foundation (CERF)
* Biewer acceptance achieved by the BBCI into the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA)

April: 
* BBCI launched their own Health Registry

May:
* BBCI participated in Genetic Study on Piebald Coat Color, University of Saskatchewan, International Genetic Conference in France with Dr. Schmutz piebald gene in the Biewer is identified and confirmed

October: 
* Per AKC suggestion to have "America" in the Club name, the BBIC officially becomes the Biewer Breed Club of America (BBCA)
* Incorporation status has been completed
* As of October 2008 over 600 Biewers are in the BBIR database


   
2007
March: 
* Breed recognition gained into the Rare Breed network by the BBCI

May: 
* Breed Recognition gained into the National Canine Association by the BBCI

July: 
* BBCI and BBIR breed information packages sent to IABCA, NAKC AND RBCSWO for  acceptance; Biewer and Standard is accepted

August: 
* BBCI club acceptance into the RVD/UCI in Germany making our club the first Biewer Club to achieve this privilege

December: 
* MMI Genomics chosen as the DNA Laboratory of choice for the BBIR Registry

   

2006
March: 
* NBCA website opened
* NBCA's first online meeting of the Board or Directors called to order

April: 
* First representatives from the NBCA attending and showing in a IABCA dog show in Lexington, Kentucky

May: 
* Contacted AKC/FSS to enquire about Breed Recognition

October: 
* Restructuring of the NBCA Club's name changed to "Biewer Breed Club International" to include members from all over the world

November: 
* First DNA samples submitted to the University of California at Davis, for breed study

December: 
* Biewer Breed International Registry (BBIR) studbook started



2005
November: 
* Conception of Forming a Biewer Club (the National Biewer Club of America NBCA)
